As we all know, having healthy and hydrated skin is essential to not only looking your best, but feeling your best. I did some research and found some amazing treatments all over the web. However, the one that stuck out for me was the Maple Syrup Mask. This Canadian staple is antioxidant packed and very calming on your skin. It may seem a bit unconventional, but it hydrated my face the best. It left my skin feeling almost gloss-like, which will protect against environmental abrasion. Giving it a beautiful glow, it creates a healthy look.
Full of Anti-oxidents
To give this treatment an extra kick before I applied the mask, I gently scrubbed my face with sugar and milk, a natural (and most-likely cheaper) alternative to the mainstream brands selling facial scrubs. You also are aware of EXACTLY what you’re using on your face as well, which is always good.
1 tbsp. Maple Syrup
1/4 Banana (mashed)
*Oats (if desired)
* Milk (if desired)
Apply generously to face and leave on for about 15-20 minutes. Gently wash your face after.
