A Thistle Interview: Virginia Gardner

Hello all! So, my cousin Virginia Gardner has been absolutely killing it lately, and so I wanted to do a short Q & A with her! She recently starred in a Michael Bay thriller,”Project Almanac”, and has also been working on a new indie film called “Goat”, starring alongside musician and actor Nick Jonas.

I am so proud of her accomplishments, she truly is a wonderfully kind human being, who works hard and goes after what she wants with strong will and inspiring perseverance.

I asked her some questions; a little about careers, boys, and beauty. Read below to find out more!

Question: “What’s the best and worst part about acting?”

Ginny: ” The best part is definitely being able to create art that can affect people. The worst part about the industry is probably facing the rejection.”

Question: “What role would you love to play that you haven’t yet?’

Ginny: “Doing Broadway would definitely be an amazing experience for me.”

Q: ” What made you want to act and how did you get into it?”

G: ” Ever since I was little, I always wanted to play pretend with my parents, act out things, and make-believe. I’ve always been really theatrical too, and adored theater. When I was 16 I moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. I got an agent and worked really hard, attending acting classes and working with talented coaches.”

Q: “Now to the more important questions, how old were you when you got your first boyfriend, and what is your best flirting technique?”

G: ” Haha, I was 14 when I had my first boyfriend. And as far as flirting, I’ve always believed in being yourself, and even being a little silly, whoever you’re crushing on should like you for you. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Be 100% yourself.”

Q: ” What are your current favorites as far as hair and beauty products?’

G: ” For hair, I love the Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, it’s magical. And for beauty, I’ve been loving this brand called Simple. I get their mineral cleansing water, it’s amazing and you can pick it up and any local drugstore.”
