Summer is here and I am so glad I got to see my beautiful cousin Ginny this past weekend. She currently resides in Los Angeles, and is the ultimate true blue Californian beaut, the cousin not the city. Needless to say, she’s pretty badass and I am very proud of what she has accomplished. I hope you all had a great weekend! Enjoy.
Los Angeles, C.A. 2016
Here are some fun excerpts from my quick trip. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to take as many photos as I had liked due to the busy schedule and just wanting to catch up with the cousin. We only ever get to see each other once in a blue moon, so it’s so nice that I got to hang and say my hellos!
First, we woke up and grabbed some much needed coffee, threw on some makeup, tornadoed the ground and tabletops with girl crap, gabbed, got dressed, and off we went to spend our money and our calories.
The crash pad.
Above, is a serene view of the courtyard. Below, is a rare digital image of an actual angel taken July 16th, 2016.
Clearly in a hurry to grab some grub. Follow the blonde with the matching backpack and the jean jacket (with a sick donut pin attached from Madewell, sadly not pictured).

Our moods after the foods.
The backpack, the blonde and I then ventured into a fun pop up shop called Reservoir on Robertson Blvd.
THE glasses. A little bit obsessed.

Brunch At The Plaza
Sundays are meant for sleeping in, stressing less, eating more, and having some fun. Work hard play hard am I right? My friend Kat and I decided to have a mid afternoon breakfast pick me up. We headed to one of our favorite places, Cafe at the Plaza.
I wanted to share some fun and beautiful memories we captured below.
Of course, before we left we had to snap some shots in our sundresses. Kat is wearing a vintage chiffon skirt from DKNY and vintage JCrew floral printed slip all from Lela Boutique in the Third Ward of downtown Milwaukee, WI.
Theory booties on me to the right + Sam Edelman kitten heels on Kat to the left (oh the irony).
Because I live a hop, skip and a jump away from said Cafe, I decided it was best we meet at my place and then walk over. We took a stroll down my street and saw some Spring time sights and delights. Below is Kat slinging her Coach cross body while en route to food.
We made it!
Same Theory booties, maxi from Target, Marc Jacobs backpack, Ray Ban sunnies.
Photo props to Kat for this adorable snap above of some blooms in a mason jar.
The Courtyard aka a little slice of Parisienne heaven…
Only a brief lull.
Trying to walk off our breakfast…and on to the next adventure.
This week has been so beautiful weather wise. I love to get outside when the weather is nice and shoot, which is exactly what I did this weekend! I had such a fun time shooting my muse of the moment, Sasha. I really wanted to capture the mood, so I stuck to more muted and pastel tones when I selected the wardrobe options. I put a little red on the lips because you always need a pop of something (not just champagne) when you throw together a fun look for Spring.

We didn’t travel far to get these shots. In fact, this was actually behind a coin laundry building that was only just around the corner, and the white, tarnished walls were the perfect backdrop for this minimalistic concept.
I loved how this story turned out. I had so much trouble having to select only a few!
For the colder months, I really gravitate towards rich and earthy toned colors in bags, jackets, accessories, and nail lacquers. For my favorite pieces, I decided to put together some lovely items that really symbolize autumnal style for me. Take a peek below to see some of my styles!

Another trend I see a lot of are transitional dresses. Ideally, the frocks that can go from summer to fall, after styling them for the proper season. Below is a cute little shift from The Fifth. I paired it with a great white leather jacket from Jack, a vintage Coach shoulder bag, and some studded booties from Sam Edelman.
The last look is one of my favorite go-tos for pretty much any chilly day. A great pair of jeans, some military boots, and a cute navy green jacket, with an amazing oversized bag, perfect to add some drama to your look.
Enjoy the weekend!

I had a shoot this week with some very talented people. I wish we all lived closer so we could work together more! They were all so sweet and we worked together like a well-oiled machine.
Here are just some of the shots we took and I’m looking forward to showing you more!

Here is a preview of a new project with a beautiful friend of mine as my muse, Alayna. It was a light summer day with lots if sunshine, which created wonderful shadows. My Grandma gave me some awesome vintage necklaces, which I placed in Alayna’s hair, as a beautiful decorative crown.

I always love collaborating on fun projects with friends. So, Hannah and I decided to team up for a shoot.
We ended up taking over 1,000 photos….yikes! Every shot was amazing, which made it hard to choose the best ones. But these were the ones I really loved…
